Private equity refers to investments in operating companies that are not publicly traded on the open market and are privately owned. There are many types of private equity investments such as: venture capital, growth capital, and leveraged buyout.

Listing Requirements - Private Equity
  • Firm must be a legally structured entity with a corporate Tax Identification number if it is a United States based entity. Firms based outside the United States must be legally structured in their country of domicile.
  • Must have an offering memorandum or prospectus and audited performance returns
  • There must be no material outstanding ruling with any major governmental regulatory agency regarding your fund
